Brent Sweeny

Brent Sweeny has worked with the Internet since ARPAnet, having connected Indiana University to it, later helping bring the Internet to the universities of Indiana and the Midwestern states. He was a principal network engineer building the Internet2 network, and within the GRNOC has had lead roles in engineering and operating Internet2, National LambdaRail, CIC Omnipop, and TransPAC, and participated ten years on the SCinet routing team for the principal international supercomputing conference. He has spoken, taught, and presented nationally and internationally on internet-related technical topics including IP Multicast, IPv6, BGP and routing policy, international Telepresence exchanges, and OpenFlow.
